Holy freaking criznap!
I came here for a quick lunch on a Monday afternoon on the recommendation of some friends who live nearby. I have since been back several times.
Each time I have enjoyed the service of an attentive waitstaff and perhaps the best street tacos I've found in the area. Understand these are kind of hipster street tacos, not the authentic taqueria-style tacos you'll find on Alameda east of Lakewood.
They have a particular taco called "OMFG" which, appropriately, is the most delicious thing I've had from the menu. I've also had the steak arrachera and the roasted cauliflower. As an unrepentant and ravenous carnivore, I must say that I like the cauliflower taco more than anything other than the OMFG.
It does seem that Dos Santos is much easier to get into at lunchtime than at dinner. My daughter and I walked over to grab a bite around 6:30 one evening and when we saw the crowd, we decided to go elsewhere. Reminded me of the Yogi Berra quote: "That place is so busy, no one goes there anymore." :)
Truly a delicious meal in Uptown. If they aren't packed, go in and grab a spot and nosh some tacos. You'll thank yourself. -

Dos Santos, where you will definitely eat more than dos tacos and should bring at least dos amigos!
Tacos, tacos, tacos. I tried a few different tacos including the OMFG taco, arrachera, porky lechon, chicken tinga, and the beer battered fish. Tops? The OMFG taco was my definite favorite, it's so unique and delicious - think of it like poke or sushi, but as a taco. The OMFG taco is raw tuna on bibb lettuce with lime cilantro aioli, avo, cabbage, onion, leek, and poppy seed. Absolute must try if that fits your flavor profile. My second favorite was the chicken tinga, which had a flavorful sauce. The steak tacos were also decent. Usually I enjoy beer battered fish tacos the most, but this one did not strike me as unusually special. The pork taco was my least fave, and tasted more bland in comparison to the other tacos.
For dessert we had the choco tacos. It's a choco taco, and with a house-made waffle, so you definitely can't go wrong with those!
For drinks, I really enjoyed the cucumber margarita. Definitely a bit of surprise for me, but I just happened to try my friend's cucumber margarita and ended up drinking about half of it.
The patio is my preferred place to dine. Much quieter than inside, and you can actually hear your friends. There are community tables, so depending on your group size, you may be sharing with another group, which is totally fine with me. The more, the merrier.
Great taco place - and if you like tuna, the OMFG taco is a must try! -

Visited twice on a recent trip to Denver. My sister in law recommended Dos Santos and boy was she right. I absolutely lover the ahi tuna nachos and tinga chips. Both are great options to munch on while having a nice chat. They were extra good paired with a nice margarita.
As for mains, we tried different tacos and each one was as wonderful as the previous. Chicken, Steak, Mushrooms, OMFG. Truly lovely. Not cheap, but the high level ingredients and vibe is totally worth it.
Patio seating was my favorite. Weather was perfect to hang outside and enjoy all Dos Santos has to offer! -

Cute place. Great lighting, bar and patio area. Note this place is best for tapas style. I ordered the cauliflower and steak tacos, along with a steak quesadilla. Meat was marinated and cooked perfectly, juicy. Service was great, constantly refilled our waters and checked in on us. Probably not the best place for hungry hungry people. Our total bill was $20.45, we had the passbook bogo on tacos. Tacos averaged $3 or more depending on the style of meat or veggie. Drinks vary from $10+ for cocktails and margaritas. Street parking pretty easy during the day, not sure about the late nights.

So let's start with the fact that the server that took our order clearly for got to ring it in. How do I know this i literally watched 4 tables after us get their food. Then the person with me went up to our server to bring it to her attention that it had been well over 45 minutes that we had been waiting. She goes to another server who we over here them telling them kitchen about our clearly forgotten ticket. Next food comes out the taco of the day was a Caribbean and i use that term lightly taco. It was bad so bad that myself and my guest sent both of ours back. It was cold and lacking flavor. Our server's attitude was unacceptable the whole time. Between the lack of service and the mediocre food i will NEVER BE BACK.
